Ngolo Kante ruled out of Qatar 2022 FIFA world cup

Ngolo Kante who was a key member of France’s 2018 world cup winning team has been ruled out of the world cup with a hamstring injury.

Chelsea confirmed that Kante will miss the world cup after undergoing an operation on his hamstring.

The club has now confirm that Ngolo will play no part in France’s title defense in Qatar as he is expected to be out for close to four months.

In a statement on the club website, Chelsea said: “N’Golo Kante has undergone an operation on his hamstring injury.

“The midfielder visited a specialist with the club’s medical department to explore the options for his rehabilitation approach and it was mutually agreed for N’Golo to have surgery to repair the damage.

“Following a successful operation, N’Golo is now expected to be sidelined for four months.”
