Chelsea lists managers to replace outgoing Thomas Tuchel

Chelsea after the sack of German manager Thomas Tuchel has listed some managers they will be looking forward to, to fill in the gap left by the manager.

Thomas Tuchel who won the UCL, FIFA club world cup and Uefa super cup for the Blues was sacked after his side lost 1-0 to Dinamo Zabreg on the opening day fixture in their 2022/2023 UCL season.

MAURICIO POCHETTINO

Chelsea has its eyes set on former Tottenham and PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino to replace the outgone Thomas Tuchel. Pochettino who took Spurs to the Champions League final before losing it to Liverpool joined PSG after he left the white lilies. Pochettino will be coming through with experience from Europe and the EPL as a whole after experiences with Southampton and Tottenham Hotspurs.

GRAHAM POTTER

Former Swansea City and current Brighton and Hove Albion manager Graham Potter is another name that is being considered by the Chelsea board to replace Tuchel.

Potter who has transformed Brighton since his arrival is tipped for greatness after a flying start to the 2022/2023 EPL season.

Many see him to be the perfect fit for the long-term project Chelsea seem to be after.

ZINEDINE ZIDANE

Three-time Champions League winner Zinedine Zidane who is currently out of job is also tipped to join the Blues. Zidane who won the UCL three times in a row with Real Madrid from 2016 to 2018 is believed to have his sight on the French national team job should Didier Deschamps leave after Qatar 2020.

Many believe it will be difficult for Todd Boehly to bring the Frenchman to Stamford bridge considering his desire to coach the Le Blues of France.

Brendan Rodgers and Diego Simeone are names also being mentioned around the club.
