Harry Maguire to stay at Manchester United despite being linked to West Ham

West Ham’s improved bid for Harry Maguire has. been rejected by Man Utd

West Ham have had an improved bid of £30million for England Captain Harry Maguire rejected by Manchester United.

West Ham has been linked with Harry Maguire throughout the summer as they look set to improve their squad for the season ahead.

At age 30, Maguire is no longer considered a starter by manager Erik ten Hag as he fancies others ahead of him. He was recently replaced as the captain of the club.

Man Utd however, have always maintained that they see Maguire to be an important member of the team and has no plans of selling him.

He faces competition from Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez for a place in the starting eleven.

West Ham, meanwhile, have also been linked with a move for Maguire’s United team-mate Scott McTominay.
