“We have to realise we are in the middle of a very busy period – we had to change. Diogo was meant to play but I had a call – he is on the bench.”
“It’s not about having an eye on Sunday. We have to realise we are in the middle of a very busy period.”
Klopp: “Diogo was not planned [to miss out], that’s why yesterday he was in the press conference. Then you get a call from the medical department and ‘maybe he can play but not too long’, oh great.”
Klopp: “Then we had to get someone else in who can play 90 minutes, that’s why he’s on the bench and is available.”
