Otto Addo names 23 men for world cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar
Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has released the 23 man squad for Ghana double world cup qualifiers tie against Chad and Madagascar.
Ghana is currently second in group I in their 2026 world cup qualifying table.
The Black Stars of Ghana have lost just once in the qualifiers to Comoros Island and also beating Madagascar, Mali and Central African Republic to move to second on the table with 9 points.
The Black Stars have struggled in recent years to be as glorious as they used to be.
The Stars that’s shinned brighter in Germany(2006) and South Africa (2010) seem to have deemed beyond human comprehension.
Otto Addo names three local players in the squad with Benjamin Asare of Hearts Of Oak, Razak Simpson of Nations FC and Kamaradini Mamudu of Medeama Sporting Club making the squad.
Ghana will face Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on March 21, then take on Madagascar in Morocco on March 24.
The Black stars team are expected to assemble on Monday, March 17, 2025, and train for four days before hosting Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21, 2025.
